March 1
•    Arrival at Odessa’s airport.
•    Visit to the Ilichovsk port.
•    Greetings addressed to the workers during the welcome ceremony at the Ilichovsk port.
•    Tour around the harbor on board of the “Sebastopol” boat to see the port’s technical facilities.  Conversation with the first deputy director of the Black Sea Shipping Company.
•    Visit to Odessa’s Catacombs in the village of Nerubaiskoye, where there is a museum in memory of the struggle waged by soviet guerrilla fighters in the catacombs of the city and its surroundings during 1941 and 1942.  Fidel signed the Book of Honor.
•    Fidel laid wreaths at Lenin’s monument and at the common grave of the heroes who fell between 1918 and 1920, in the square across the Party’s Committee building.
•    Tour around the old part of the city.
•    Visit to the Opera and Ballet State Academic Theater.
•    Meeting with leaders of Odessa at the Cuban delegation’s residence.
